Swim Lessons for Waterbabies
Philosophy
Our aim is to empower parents by teaching them to progress at the child’s pace using verbal cues, body language, and positive feedback. Using a gentle, loving approach, our instructors guide parents in introducing their child to water skills. We teach basic swimming skills such as submersion, back float, kicking, reaching, and breath control. No two babies are alike, and they learn and progress at different speeds. You will take each step at you and your baby’s own pace from wetting baby’s head to baby’s first underwater swim.
Happy Fish allows infants as young as 6 months to start experiencing the water with Mom or Dad. All children must wear appropriate swim attire including a disposable or re-usable swim diaper that is snug around the waist and thighs. Disposable swim diapers are for sale at Happy Fish for $2.00 if you forget to bring one.
NOTE: Please be aware swim diapers are very different than regular diapers and your child must wear swim diapers.
