Organizations, Affiliations, and Recognition

Active participation in and support of community events is important to Happy Fish.

Happy Fish Swim Schools is a proud, active member of the following organizations:

	Fremont Chamber of Commerce
	Mission San Jose Chamber of Commerce
	Irvington Business Association Happy Fish and IBA in the News
	United States Swim School Association
	American Red Cross

Each year we help organize and run events put on by these organizations.

We also support the Fremont Education Foundation (FEF).



Because of money raised by the Happy Fish Run 4 Education, the Fremont Education
Foundation's Guy Emanuele Sports Fund is now able to fund after school basketball leagues for both boys and girls at 27 elementary schools in Fremont. For more information about the Guy Emanuele Sports Fund and other programs offere by FEF, please see the FEF website.

Recognition

In June 2006, Happy Fish was awarded the California State Parent and Teacher Association
(PTA) Honorary Service Award. Only one organization in each PTA region in California receives
this prestigious recognition.

In December 2007, Happy Fish Swim School was recognized by the Fremont
Education Foundation Board of Directors and the Fremont Unified School Board for their
ongoing support of the Fremont Education Foundation.
