About Us:

Happy Fish Swim School is a year-round, indoor swim school. We offer swim lessons and safety classes to ages 6 months through adults. We focus on all levels and abilities.

We have a full time assistant manager position open for our Livermore location. This job is for the individual who likes working with people, interacting with children, and is continuously trying to improve themselves professionally. There are opportunities for advancement, lots of fun, and lots of learning!

Assistant manager duties include but are not limited to:

· Ensure safety and cleanliness of facility.

· Directly works with customers, children, and staff.

· Ensure that quality and safe swim lessons are being taught.

· Teach swim lessons and work at our front desk.

· Work shifts as an on-deck manager.

· Special projects as assigned.

· Reports to upper management.

The Ideal candidate will have the following skills:

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and attention to details.

· Ability to work under pressure, while multitasking.

· Constant desire to improve his or herself.

· Ability to problem solve and make decisions on the spot.

· Ability to work well with existing management staff.

· Skill base that complements existing management staff.

Qualifications:

· Must be able and willing to work evenings and weekends and on short notice.

· Bachelor degree required.

· Experience working with children.

· Extensive customer service experience.

· Supervisory experience preferred.
